As I was crossing the street, a truck hit me. When I opened my eyes, I saw bright lights, a beautiful open garden, flowers of all colors blooming, butterflies and bees enjoying themselves. Someone gave me delicious food, then took me to my room. A huge bed stood before me. I lay down and slept. After a while, I woke up— surrounded by a swarm of cockroaches. “Where am I? Who are you?” I asked. One of them said, “You are in heaven, and we are the cockroaches you killed while you were alive.” “What? I’m dead?” I asked. “Yes,” they said in unison. “Now that you are here, we will take revenge, eat you alive, little by little.” “No!” I screamed and woke up. Little Blue, staring at me curiously, asked, “What happened?” “I had a cockroach dream,” I said. “What’s new?” it said. “You always have weird dreams.”
