It’s hard for me to admit
It calms me
Even if for only a little bit
It takes me
Away from all the pain and disgust
It changes me
Lost all feelings of trust
It numbs me
Everything inside I keep
It frightens me
Might lose control, might cut too deep
It hurts me
Tears dripping down where I lay
It helps me
But also kills me and bleeds all love away
