Paint, metal, ever lasting ink Come together Fall apart Means to an end Skin, bone, blood Life. Wanting to be held! This is how I see my world Giver of life Bringer of death Source of beauty Many parts Many clones All the same All vastly different This thing I was born with Lucky to have Taken for granted Precious life, kept here. Holder of hearts Keeper of souls A gift all my own used abused Loved? Scared Never to truly know Are you happy being with me? Or should I be kinder Questions? Questions? Questions? More than a tool You keep his memory alive You once held him Knew his warmth And the coolness of death A fighter. Strong. Brave. Bold. Proud. Happy.
