The sun smiled earnestly through the window sill today I think it smiled at you Am jealous of the moon gazing at ur spender perfection Am jealous of how the moonlight kissed you when I wasn't looking I think am head over heels over you I think my love for you is becoming a gradual succession I won't be surprised if this turns into a further addiction I won't be surprised if this feeling eventually sickens me Tomorrow seems so far, let's make use of today forever The bed doesn't feel cold anymore whenever you are around Probably because your gentle touch suppresses the fever You hold me so close like am going to slip away someday Am not complaining, baby hold me closer everyday The rain keeps touching you whenever you play outside Am jealous am not the one making you wet Now the sun lays subconsciously on your smooth brown jelly skin Am jealous am not the one keeping you dry But nevertheless you promised me a thousand times that you were mine alone You promised me forever like it was a piece of cake Baby those promises faded away when the harmattan breeze came our way But yet it feels this jealous me is still not ready to go away
