You are a daughter of the sea Your moods change with the tides You are a daughter of the night Your love moves with the waxing and waning of the moon Men wish to capture and keep you, Hold you in their arms Bind you in chains of silver and gold They think you are easily molded in their hands like clay Yet too late they realize You are not of this world And for all they wished to possess you Your true form terrifies them Because you are stronger than they ever could hope to be Your delicate limbs can not be bound Your passions can not be diluted You ****** men when the moon is high And drown them in the ocean waves
