Time and miles seem to rearrange the pieces in the puzzle and it becomes unrecognizable even though somehow familiar.. It's harder talking to a stranger.  There is an awful lot of feeling folded into those few words above.  Congrats.

I walk the same path, sure I'm not the only one.  This poem has duality.  Not just about loss.  Those of us who are still together have become numb.  You nailed it.
