My Love

Oh sweetheart, my darling, you make my world shine,

Of the forest of my soul, you light every last pine.

From dawn, until dusk, then until I arise

I couldn't be happier than to call my Emily mine.

Being one of the better parts of my soul,

There is one patch of land where the flowers grow.

This patch of rich earth is where they make their home,

All the people in my life, that I've ever know.

There stands one flower, among all the rest,

Who is beautiful, unequivocally she is the best.

The entire planet mimics every toss of her hair,

Just to try to tell her I care.

She is the center of my being, she makes me whole.

She is the center of the world of my soul.
