A Hundred Years Falling

Hole in the ground,

I’ve found eternal bliss.

Sadness comes and goes-

so much with a twist.

Endless black days stare me down.

My chest aches for the light-

Aches for the fright.

We continue deeper.

Burned out, crying,I cannot deny the bliss I feel.

The silence, no matter my mind screaming.

I feel no fear.

No happiness.

No joy.

Stuck in a hollow shell.

But free.

No one to please-

to make happy.

I only myself.
