I saw you from afar, walking towards me with sun rays resting on your face. Immediately, my heart began to rattle, I took it as a sign, a fate, a destiny that none could debate. You came closer and asked for an address, as you were new to the place, but my heart took it as an invitation to connect, as I stood there full of beauty and grace. Fortunately or unfortunately, it turned out that we lived in the same building… And the story began as we bumped into each other on the staircase or in the elevator every evening. Even when you said, “Hello, how are you?” my heart heard, “I can’t live without you.” And when you said, “Bye, see you,” my heart interpreted it as, “I’m already missing you.” I don’t know why I was so drawn to you, to your quiet personality too, even without words or actions, my heart would flutter at the smallest glimpse of you. Days passed, years passed, and everything changed, but I remained the same… creating dreamy stories, unable to gather the courage. And somewhere along the way, without a word, without a warning, without “us” being together, you became someone else’s forever.

A Story Unspoken
I saw you from afar, walking towards me with sun rays resting on your face. Immediately, my heart began to rattle, I took it as a sign, a fate, a destiny that none could debate.
