Hidden Feelings

At first we were strangers in a crowd

We knew nothing of the future

Yet we felt so proud,

We had no idea what lay ahead

But continued without hesitation

Walking in each and every direction

I never confessed how i felt

Was to afraid of what you'd say

So instead we stayed just friends

I never showed my true emotions

Nor confessed my devotions

But instead hid my thoughts

That lay compressed in my dreams

And till this day I struggle with what's true

That all my love belongs to you
