**** THE OLD ME Part 1: by Noel Simba The Amazing Pencil **** the old me The one they took for granted Uproot the fear they planted My generosity they called odd I beat my chest like a gorilla Hoping my voice would be heard But without me, they moved ahead They laughed and jeered Mocked that heart soft Part 2: by Jah net AKA Tale Teller They watched me cry. Let my tears flow into the ocean. If my story they've known, That I suffer from self guilt. I blame myself for my own existence. Just **** the old me They called me weak in their eyes Like I was nobody's daughter They called me an error in the mirror Some night i just wish to drown In my sleeping sea and see How the world would run if you **** the old me. ©Noel Simba The Amazing Pencil & Jah net AKA Tale Teller 27 may 2026
