Do we really need them?
Do they really do some good?
Or are they just a clutter
Saying things we know - we should.
A sign upon a dustbin,
"No banned materials allowed in here"
Will it really help to say it
Because I think everybody knows
If something's banned then obviously
That isn't where it goes
A sign along the highway
"Please obey all of the signs"
Really? And someone thought that
Putting those words on a sign would somehow
make it so?

Just something I think about whenever I see a stupid sign....
