the slightest shift of mood i respond obstructing my ability to wait for the truth my safe place overrides with useless headaches overwhelming answers to my open-ended question i unravel in a sea of emotions used in vain knowing nothing matters still the tears continue to dance down my inflamed, tender cheeks ignorant to the rhythm arranged by my quivering exhale and sniveling inhalation.

the slightest shift of mood i respond obstructing my ability to wait for the truth my safe place overrides with useless headaches overwhelming answers to my open-ended question i unravel in a sea of emotions used in vain knowing nothing matters still the tears continue to dance down my inflamed, tender cheeks ignorant to the rhythm arranged by my quivering exhale and sniveling inhalation.
