Black

Everything I touch

Turns to black

Nothing I do can be

Bright enough

Nothing I can say

Will be good enough

I tarnished your love

With a few stupid words

All I wanted

Was for you to be my

Vermillion knight forever

I dreamt of a time when

I would be loved

I dreamt of a time when

I would be good

I dreamt of a time when

I would be yours

Your vermillion queen

But like everything else

I push too hard

I want too much

I am too much

And everything I touch turns to black

Maybe on that fateful day

I shouldn’t have put the gun away
