I think you ask a very difficult question. To start, how do you consider yourself ? Me, for instance, I see myself as an Earthling, meaning I never can understand why someone would fight over a piece of land. And why is it that a line defines in which "country" you live. I speak Dutch (birth language), French, English, German, Spanish and a little bit of Japanese. If more people could be multi langual (I hope this is correct :-)) ) we would understand each other better. If we would understand each other better, our differences will be smaller. No matter where you live or what you do. The majority of people are good people. No matter what our governments would want us to believe. As long as there are people getting rich by selling weapons, there will be war. As long as there is war, there will be refugees. These people flee from the fear of getting killed or the fear of seeing their families getting killed or even worse. They are victims. Most of them have to leave their homes, jobs and also their "status". For instance, a doctor in Syria cannot work as a doctor in Europe. His diplomas don't count. He has studied to save lives, to heal people, but once he has crossed an imaginary border, all his studies are a waiste? Where is the justice in that ? But he also wants to live. he wants his children to live. Therefore he seeks his fortune in another country. Should we accept these people? I am not going to say yes or no. I think my statement is obvious, but it is what it is : only my opinion. And I guess it always comes down to the same thing : through what kind of  glasses are we looking at things?

How could the United nations not accept someone who has no nation, and is Thus, a nation in himself?

I think, as a teenager, they are vulnerable and captured in constant cycles of brutal repression and migration..however that doesn't mean that countries are going to grant citizenships and specific identity to them..but this is a stand the whole world has to take unitedly..also  some media reports also show their lives in overcrowded slums around dumpyards but they keep revolutionising themselves ..seeking education from NGOs etc...i think things will fall into right place though unknowingly sooner or later..
