Hearts

Hearts

What is the difference between real and imaginary?

The dissection between what is corporeal and incorporeal?

How does one find the Truth in the subtle...

That infinite knowledge in a grain of sand,

The finite statement in a vast universe?

I search for what I think I desire.

If desire is even a term.

Destiny, purpose, will defined,

An inspiration to create something beautiful,

A mind.

I search my heart, and I see their eyes...

A light, a smile, a happiness.

I ask of God so many things...

And although time and place await their kairos,

I know he hears across this space.

What is love and what is truth?

What is life eternal?

A thousand years and there is no end,

A continuation, yearning.

Friends are subtle, between this and that.

No enemies besides.

A person is a person, seen, unknown...

As one draws closer, what is there to discover?

A hidden knowledge, a gem, a secret...

A door that opens and closes,

A life existing beside your own,

A will, a hope, a dream.

If I could grant all their wishes,

Harmless, perfect, ready...

A thousand prayers, answered, fulfilled...

A paradise in a thousand worlds.
