I wonder what it must have been like
for romantic lovers
when they sang songs
about Love Potion No. 9's,
not knowing much about geography,
Earth Angels and Do Wah Diddy's.
It must have sounded
like unchained melodies,
real stardust &
genuine innocence,
not these plastic hearts,
seemingly molded by technology,
a certain type of synthetic love.
