A regurgitation of the world

What they need from you

What you are worth to them

Them is a people of need and displaced

I'll give you the honest truth,

That no one really values you

Good luck trying to escape it

Just know that history can't erase it

Showing up with a broken back

Hopeful the overlords keep track

Hardworking and dedication out the windows

While Tad poles search in a lake of minnows

I'll give you the honest truth

That no one really values you

Good luck trying to escape it

Just know that history can't erase it

Reaching for more and feeling aspirational

Trying to accomplish goals so unobtainable

What they need from you

What you're worth to them

Them is the people in need and displaced

On your best day you feel alone

When your on the straight and arrow road.

Trying to grow yourself while you're aware that they wont.
