i don't.
i remember things well.
but on the occasion,
i do forget.
some of my treasured memories
have holes in them.
i can't remember
the full picture.

im scared to forget something -
even the smallest detail.
like how the light hit your eyes,
making them sparkle as you smiled,
laying comfortably
in your version of heaven.
the happiness was obvious,
visible to anyone who could see.
im happy that you're happy.
but the last thing i want,
is to forget something.
anything.
