stretched

out of the couch

i lie and get out.

i do not go home

she is "blah" on the phone.

i get myself walked

early, quickly, no stops.

i arrive before them

do my make up and then

shower hair with the hose

at dad's shop - it's still closed.

i am naughty and nice

all before five at night.

new ideas we toss 'round

but i hear not a sound

from his calling nor texts

i guess ther'll be no more ***
