Thump thump
I can feel and hear my heart
Beating inside my chest
The anchor keeping my soul attached
To this flesh
Fusing ever so intricate
Until death approches me silently
Carrying with him my last breath
Stopping me in my tracks so swiftly
I feel no urges to look back
Nor the urge to retrace all those steps
Back into the mess of what was
My life
Eternally at rest
What was once a sick animated meat puppet
Now harmoniously harbors a terrarium filled with Mushies, moss, and insects
How wonderful to envision
What was once twisted, sick and confused
from the ribcage that delicately harbored my heart and lungs,
Too the ten toesies that kept me grounded.
Vibrantly vibrating were it needs to be , when it was needed there.
