Like soldiers sneaking upon the enemy The Dandelions grew thick on the lawn Painting a sea of yellow amongst the blades of green Try as they might the tall, yellow stalks bent with ease As they tried to strangle the life from the young blades But the low lying grass pushed back Swarming over the tall lions, pushing them down As if they were grasshoppers not prepared for a winter storm The grass thrived

The Last Take Over Bid
Like soldiers sneaking upon the enemy The Dandelions grew thick on the lawn Painting a sea of yellow amongst the blades of green Try as they might the tall, yellow stalks bent with ease As they tried to strangle the life from the young blades But the low lying grass pushed back Swarming over the tall lions, pushing them down As if they were grasshoppers not prepared for a winter storm The grass thrived
