Love isn’t enough, Nor is *** If it was, We would have been everything. Love demands more Needs presence, Needs support, Needs someone who sees your heart For all its weight and worth. Not just someone Who laughs it off, Or argues to win Defines character, Rather trying to know you But that someone, Who lifts you up Who whispers, “I’ve got you,” Not only in the dark, in bed, But in the light, among the noise. So I let you go Of that hand that once Made my body tremble Gave me butterflies Instead For the one I trust To keep my hands warm, To cry with me When I’m gone, And bury me With love still in their hands.

Love Is Not Enough

When true love becomes a tattoo filled with pain suffer and bitter misery, partnership moves forward maybe its not love but its not make you cold to death. Keeps you breathing
