Mirror, mirror on the wall, could you catch me if I fall? Separated by a sheet of glass I feel you looking every time I pass Though I sit here all alone, it's never just me roaming this home Mirror, mirror, on the floor, are you mad I slammed the door? I go off in a fit of rage, you're left alone up on the stage Quietly rewriting my fantasies, anxiously hoping I'll take time to see Mirror, mirror, in the pool, once again I am love's fool You show me what you think I need Never anticipating I like to bleed You bring your woes to counter my sorrows I'm sorry, my dear, we're all out of tomorrows Mirror, mirror, in a box, I tossed the key and changed the locks Reflections aren't supposed to burn but you showed me things I wasn't ready to learn I call it fate when the timing is wrong, then sing our ending like an overplayed song
