I smile wide, I act okay, I nod along, Through the day; Inside my chest, A thunder drum, A storm that says, “Something will come”; No one can see, No one can tell, I look so normal, I hide it well; But when it’s quiet, I start to shake, A silent fear, That won’t let break.

Under the Skin
I smile wide, I act okay, I nod along, Through the day; Inside my chest, A thunder drum, A storm that says, “Something will come”; No one can see, No one can tell, I look so normal, I hide it well; But when it’s quiet, I start to shake, A silent fear, That won’t let break.
