I see you watch me in the evening wondering if I'm leaving as golden light streams through the clouds in the ceiling With your eye on my garden full of colours to plunder you're staring at me with a poisonous wonder My alpine glen isn't your first rodeo glaring, cradling my first magnolia Still, I don't hold back or shrink like a mimosa I won't pull away as you get closer Just don't chase me - I've no flight I'm a bird of paradise
