Desperate for love and affection
I thought her words were true
I'm back at the beginning
not knowing what to do
I'm needing more than just a friend
with her I felt like a teenager again
No answers to my questions
I call or text to no replies
I gave her everything she wanted
only to be chopped down from all sides
I keep thinking where did I go wrong?
I'll bet she had her eyes on the exit sign all along
Once again I pick up the pieces of what's left of my heart
