Who wants to have success? I want anonymity I don’t deserve identity Not sure of my proximity Darkness is our imagery Dark like our duality Fittingly in our tranquility There’s no hotel or casino Who wants to be an anemone Living in the sea Being pretty and predatory But I’m searching for space to grieve Over my own wickedness believe If I could just rest on the constellation Libra I’d do it in a whimper enjoying her I just scratched a love note on Voyager. The Bard gets fidgety When he’s out of whiskey No girls to get frisky My words a bit risky Wish I was tipsy Maybe get a bit crispy When my nifty fingers Linger too long in the stars Deep space flight Where it feels like night So far away from life Only specks of light Splashing in your eyes Deep space flight Where it feels like night So far away from life Far away from light You’d not believe your eyes You’d not believe your eyes! One light year Is a very long distance Far away from existence Why am I always running away? One light year I’d love a light beer Coors or Bud Light yeah It’s ‘cause you’re too afraid to say You’re a coward Your milky ways soured You’ve got no power That’s why you need me Lord of the words Prince of the verse In your ears like a canard Yeah me the Bard. You know I’ll carve Words of love onto the probe I’d rather you starve Than write a sonnet so blue Leave me alone Bard I was alright without you I want anonymity I don’t deserve identity Not sure of my proximity Darkness is our imagery Fittingly in our tranquility Im fed up of duality.
