Across the Sea

We never really saw eye to eye

We never really had the chance to get to know

But I think somehow,

In this life

We connected.

Now you are completely off limits-

Not like you were before

When it was only slightly off limits.

The ring on your finger

Serves as the perfect deterrent.

I wish you both the happiest

Because what more is there to say?

I wish you both the smoothest journey

Through this life and into the next.

Goodbye.
