By The-Drifter-From-Heaven_ The coffee grows cold in the Perth morning light Steam curls and vanishes before you take a sip You check the clock, and still it isn’t night The winter season does give a solemn plight, And forces me to lose my mental grip, The coffee grows cold in the Perth morning light I am now inclined to just sit tight, And watch my favorite video clip, You check the clock, and still it isn’t night I feel gloomy, miss the summer delight, How I wish I could go for a dip, The coffee grows cold in the Perth morning light This gloomy feeling is like a blight, I should just sleep before I flip, You check the clock, and still it isn’t night So I grab my breakfast, wishing for lost delight, With a full stomach I can now sleep tight, The coffee grows cold in the Perth morning light You check the clock, and still it isn’t night
