You said that we could be together. You said that we may not. When you said that we could be together I felt a little something. When you said that we may not I felt a little nothing. When you said we may not I realized that we won’t. But then I cried And wondered why But that’s a lie. I didn’t have to wonder. Cause I know Nothing is much worse than something.

When We Finally Had That Talk
