Mary weeps deep shades of red And rose petals fall from heaven Eternal, I’ve been saved from death Cursed, as the angels beckon The dawns of romance, youth, and light Skies change and life’s harmonious Comes to an end with dripping eyes If I have everyone, how am I the loneliest? Even Cleopatra could not compare I’m held to the highest degree As I cry and say the Lord’s Prayer Wishing for a friend and a way to flee Millions of men surround me and know my worth But what can I do as the last girl on earth?
