All I Know

I feel there is a poem

trying to claw it's way out,

as I pound the keyboard without grace

and express beyond a doubt.

I sense a light of hope each day,

because she holds me with a loving embrace

that takes the pain away.

There's a dark shadow that

casts over me as I close the door,

she returns back to reality

and leaves me all alone.

I believe she will be able

to come back to me someday,

She loves me so, that's all I know,

so I'll sit here and wait.
