Her eyes. They overflow. Two small pools Cascading over. Deep blue Battling with Pure white. Fragile glass. Two silent trails Of salty tears Trickle down Her cheeks. Open wide Filled with worry, Pain and despair. A life story, It tells. A whole world, A troubled world Expressed In those Deep rivers Of sorrow. Her eyes say it all. So much pain, So many hardships In her young life. Still a teenager Thinking like an Adult. Life experience Too much to fathom. But the world is blind. Blind to the fact That all she needs To heal her aching heart Is love. Blind to the fact That they have the power To lessen the pain Of a weary, beaten, challenged Teen. So, they go on With their serene lives Not giving a thought To the soul They can save. Leaving Those two expressive eyes To wallow In the unabating Grief Her life Consists of.
