The system continues to spin
like an unending machine.
Will the gears stop turning
when they see just what I am?
Soon, it will be my turn,
to be added to the list.
When the time comes,
will they let me in?
Two are always added,
but I am all alone.
Would it just be better,
if I did not exist?
