It's funny isn't it? How parents could simply watch their children destroy themselves without giving it a second thought? How the very beings that ever so carefully create us can watch us pick ourselves apart without even a morsel of suspicion that we're slipping through the cracks How a parent could look a their child's broken smile and think behind it there isn't a crushed spirit. n.p.
