In the land of forever summer Beneath the meadow of sweet dreams In between the ocean of blue champagne There lies the white sand of silvery velvet Softer than a feather Light as a lavender’s kiss Water rolling toward where the breeze belongs Till the infinite sky merged The endless horizon gone The wild days forgotten Bottles, postcards traveled from afar Ocean is our only distance apart Yet we’re all living under the same stars Then the tunnel of the indigo night swallows them all The splash of nostalgic sunlight sparks through the passing windows of the last train Casting myriads of lonesome shadows on the red brick wall For the one last time Dreaming my way back to the East Coast Oh the land of forever summer 18.7.2015

The Land of Forever Summer
