sometimes life, it hurls pain at our window we are forced to dodge deafening blows touch the glass, just to pray it won't shatter take a chance, just to see how it goes but the trials that we face could destroy us the decision: cave in or survive and sometimes we feel like we're dying whilst the fire in our veins stays alive but the pain that we feel simply tests us we tell a story with every scar one day we'll sit back and remember while rejoicing in all that we are when the light filters through in the morning the shadows at your door will subside as your strength rises up with the sunlight you'll forget all the tears that you cried
