It must be difficult, to someone who loves words, to take the spittle and drool of those that don't appreciate the power of description. It is only through our understanding, that we are admonished or elevated. Words said in anger, or in the throes of love, mean something different to those of us who dissect language as if it were some kind of mathematical theorem.
