Bleed

She sits in the shadows Of her room and mind She examines the white scars of her past And the more recent streaks of crimson She feels the steel against her wrist again And prepares herself to feel again The smooth slide of the blade And the short sensation of control She tells herself this will be the final time The time she allows all her pain to flow out A quiet voice whispers to her "You need not bleed" She begins to weep The blade falls from her hand As she falls to her knees "For I have already bled for you"
