What is a lonely mind to do at night But to drift across snow covered streets? Evading the dull flicker of streetlights Through bushes and behind trash bins So to keep hidden from the moon As he watches from the midnight sky To be caught prompts the question “Why are you still awake?” And a lonely mind has no clear answer Because she does not know why

A Lonely Mind Desires No Company
What is a lonely mind to do at night But to drift across snow covered streets? Evading the dull flicker of streetlights Through bushes and behind trash bins So to keep hidden from the moon As he watches from the midnight sky To be caught prompts the question “Why are you still awake?” And a lonely mind has no clear answer Because she does not know why
