Monotone: A Disease
The monotone is a disease I feel it’s malevolence rushing through my veins As life slowly slipped between the gaps of my fingers Floor fallen Wasteland Wasted life
I watch TV, because I can't stand being alone with my mind. I rerun my book plots in my head, because they remind me of why I kept/keep going. I dream of recipe ideas, because I yearn for creative pursuits to distract from the repetitive demands of my coursework. I listen to music to feed a heart aching to feel something. I am a living, breathing soul, but I can't wait to be alive.
