You invade my thoughts with the intoxicating memory of our romance. How tragic our love is How mysterious and unusual to love a person you cannot be with. And I wonder if I only let you back inside to remember what it feels like to feel again. I find the pain to be a welcomed reminder why I must never love again.

The Most Invasive Species
