Full of smiles and sparkling eyes
The maze was full of tall bushes and grey fog that stretched for miles
As we tried to find a way out
We got separated
By the tall bushes and grey fog

Instead, I heard static in all of the tall bushes and grey fog
“Hey!” I cried out, as I chased what looked like you
As I reached out, I realized that I’ve reached a dead end
I’ve reached all of the dead ends in this maze of tall bushes and grey fog
This distance has made me doubt us as a whole
Your silence is making me crouch down in despair
And give me panic attacks within these tall bushes and grey fog
So this letter is my goodbye to you
