Who shall dare to quietly weep for yonder tree While the sea sheds tears of salt Dream of lands where one can safely flee Containing shades of promise They can exalt Who shall look to high hills for precious treasure As contentment lies beneath Defying all of heaven’s sweetest pleasure With every breath They breathe Who shall be the one who will stir and wake The sun to see his gold Shining upon the mountains and crystal lakes To watch a delicate mist Softly unfold Who shall stop and listen to the weeping Dry the tears of our sea Show us where contentment lies in keeping Stir and wake the sun For you and me

Who Shall?
