You thought the world was yours to claim tried to unravel the curse of Cain. Here is the executioner’s noose and the church and the steeple the orators poison wrangles the people and the wars begin to rhyme with the words of the poet. And a thousand cursed words from the mouth of men for the child knows hate as it flows through the ***** And the mother cries out her child smashed against rocks near the waters edge where the sun reflects from seagulls wings. The mosquitos feed and the dragonflies eat the wind picks up sand and it stings. And the world watches from a distance with tears in her eyes.
