Why are leaves still on the trees?
It is supposed to be winter
Why is the grass still green?
It's the middle of December
But it doesn't feel like winter
It's supposed to be holiday sweaters
and hat and scarf weather
It's supposed to be sitting near the fire
And watching "Home Alone" altogether
But doesn't feel like winter
So where did you go, Winter?
Disappeared under the sun
As the heat crawls through the months
What have we done?
