The thought of you binds me to this reality. As I trace you throughout my day. A scented flower, A dented scene- remind me. Day and night cemented In a dream Daylight borrows that I imagine what is real, to  what are dreams? Whilst the traces of you scream! What do they seek to steal? This hollowness only confuses The sorrow  my soul so kindly blesses Yet only the emptiness is real. Time to drink down this darkness Swallow this sickly swill. Pretend I no longer see you While I hope I always will. Knowing (without me) you are empty Looking for your fill. Do thoughts of me bind  you?

A Daydream of Hope

Day and night cemented In a dream Daylight borrows that I imagine what is real, to  what are dreams? Whilst the traces of you scream! What do they seek to steal? This hollowness only confuses The sorrow  my soul so kindly blesses Yet only the emptiness is real. Time to drink down this darkness Swallow this sickly swill.
