Bright blue skewers the dark,
navy fingers grow into nothing.
A young girl's helium squeal hisses high,
'oooh.....ahhhh.'
Emerald gunshot ends another life.
Velcro-splitting,
amber glitter
sparkles upon
the night's stars.
Toothpicks ***** the sky,
crimson ribbons dribble down
like blood dripping from a nose.
The orchestra of colour plays
before black devours them all again.
