Falling

I’m falling down, head over heels,

Waiting for you to catch me.

I don’t want to say this is love,

I don’t want to open my heart.

But, darling, I can see you and me together,

Holding hands and whispering sweet nothings.

I hear wedding bells tinkling,

Young children laughing.

Please catch me in your strong embrace.

You’re the only one I’ll ever fall for.

These butterflies in my stomach can’t keep me afloat,

They only make me ponder what this truly is.

My love, I’ll only say this once.

If you’ll be my darling, I’ll be yours.
